There’s nothing worse than the first qualifier on an angle you’ve released to the masses being
pulled-up without landing a blow.
That’s what happened to me on Tuesday...
First qualifier on the
‘Unexposed Handicap Chaser’ guide since I released it a couple weeks ago hit the track at Bangor, SAUVIGNON from the Dan Skelton yard, never really traveling at the back of the pack and pulled-up before 2 out.
Man that
sucks...
Ten minutes later we had the second qualifier on the angle (like buses right, nothing for a while then two within a ten minute spell!)...
It was another Dan Skelton runner, this time at Chepstow...
POTTERS APPROACH was the horse in question, was trading at around the 5-1 mark the night before but had drifted like a barge all day to its
SP of 16-1...
Now I don’t mind drifters (horses or indeed the chocolate bar!) but this seemed like a ‘nah, it’s not gonna win style drift’ but thankfully, for this angle, that is of no concern, I’ve done the hard hours on the research for this angle a long time ago, I
have the utmost confidence in it, it doesn’t matter at all what the market is doing, I back them at Betfair SP, I let them run, I know over the long-term this approach will boost my bank...
And I hope and pray a significant amount of you took notice
of that free Unexposed Handicap Trainers Guide...
As POTTERS APPROACH, given a superbly patient ride by Bridget Andrews, did the business at Betfair SP of 21.5!!!!
I wasn’t down in the dumps too long after the PU effort at Bangor!
And neither were the NTF members, as I had highlighted the qualifiers in the NTF Members Area the evening before racing.
Here’s what some of that giddy lot had to
say...
