CRACKSMAN was awesome on Saturday, but...
...give me that Novices' Chase from Ffos Las on Saturday (3.55) any day of the week!
OK, maybe not Ffos Las EVERY day, I mean I'm not insane, but you know what I mean!!
As much as I was blown away by Cracksman at Ascot on Saturday, and bloody hell he was good, I was significantly more excited by the sexy looking Novice Chase that was happening 5 minutes later, a race to really get the National Hunt juices flowing.
BAGS GROOVE won it convincingly enough in the end and should win more this term but I suspect there will be plenty of other winners to come out of that race as the season progresses.
Third placed TOMMY RAPPER certainly went in my notebook and he'll be
interesting when meeting with the following conditions...
2m5f+ | Soft or Heavy | DSLR 30 or less = 111 (3/3 – all 3 career wins)
Conditions connections shouldn't struggle to find for him in the coming weeks.
Fifth home NO COMMENT also looks a likely winner further down the line, I suspect McManus, Hobbs and Geraghty have a 3m+ handicap pot in mind for the un-exposed 7yo, once they get his handicap mark down to the mid-130's range (ran from OR 139
on Saturday).
...and talking of un-exposed chasers I've a brilliant free NTF guide for you all to download today...
