Like last year the main thing learned from last weekend was that moving the Persian War Chepstow meeting forward two weeks and pushing the Cheltenham Showcase meeting back a week has left a little bit of a gap, in
terms of quality, in the early National Hunt skirmishes.
Nevertheless that just makes me dig a bit deeper to construct the 'What we learned from the weekend' post and this week I've come up with...
1. A Hobbs hurdler who has lost no confidence after a couple of spring falls...
