A jockey you can rely upon to come first when going off hard in front...

Published: Tue, 10/18/16

Like last year the main thing learned from last weekend was that moving the Persian War Chepstow meeting forward two weeks and pushing the Cheltenham Showcase meeting back a week has left a little bit of a gap, in terms of quality, in the early National Hunt skirmishes.

Nevertheless that just makes me dig a bit deeper to construct the 'What we learned from the weekend' post and this week I've come up with...

1. A Hobbs hurdler who has lost no confidence after a couple of spring falls...

2. A Henderson Hurdler that isn't that easy to figure out...

3. A jockey that has OUTSTANDING stats when gunning things from the front..

The jumping game really is about to smack us full in the chops with Cheltenham & Aintree about to jump into the action this weekend so keep those National Hunt fires lit by grabbing this weeks 'What we learned from the weekend' post...
