Why you need to be wary of red-hot Venetia at the Paddy Power Open meeting...

Published: Thu, 11/12/15

Venetia Williams has her string in banging form at present.

Then again that's no surprise and it's something that isn't a shock to us, I had indeed highlighted her November strength in my 'November Trainer Trends' post at the start of the month.

Since the start of November she has recorded figures of...

9/28 | 32% S/R | +£31.25 BFLSP - Win & Place 10/28 | 36% S/R

However there are strong pointers that form may not continue at this weekends three day Paddy Power Open meeting at Cheltenham.

In the last six years she has returned the following figures at this high-profile meeting...

0/37 | 0% S/R | -£32.00 BFLSP - Win & Place 1/37 | 3% S/R

Oof! That's harmful to anyone's betting bank!

The thing is those starts are not an anomaly, far from it.

Look at her figures at the Paddy Power meeting since 2003 (the last 12 renewals of the meeting)...

1/60 | 1.5% S/R | -£52.89 BFLSP - Win & Place 6/60 | 10% S/R

Ouch!! A full 70% below expectation.

ONE winner at the past 12 Paddy Power meetings?!? They just keep getting turned over. Time and time again...

She's happy enough to gobble up victories at the smaller tracks during November but when it comes to the intense battlefield that is Prestbury Park her string seems to fall apart.

Stats should only be used as a guide to help you make an informed decision and they can, at any given moment, make you look like a right mug, but this Venetia Paddy Power stat has been rumbling on for a few years now and it doesn't, for whatever reason, appear to be improving any time soon and is well worth bearing in mind for the next three days.

I pulled this stat from my own Paddy Power Open meeting Stat Attack guide that NTF members were supplied with on Monday.

The guide stretches to 15 pages and is rammed full of stats and pointers for the three day meeting.

If you join in for the NTF trial period I'm currently running you will also be able to gain access to the guide.

The trial period was restricted to 50 places and the 50th place was actually taken this morning. However, I'm going to open up ANOTHER 15 SLOTS today.

The admin side of things went smoothly (which is the reason I limited places, to keep the admin side of things to a manageable load for myself) so I'm happy to extent the places just a little...

What you will get during the trail period...

  • Six in-depth race analysis guides for the three day Cheltenham Paddy Power Open meeting [Sat - G2 Juvenile Hurdle | G3 Murphy Group Hcp Chase | Paddy Power Gold Cup || Sun - Sharp Novices' Hurdle | Arkle Trial Chase | Greatwood Hurdle]
  • 15 page Stat Attack guide for Paddy Power Open meeting
  • Exhaustive weekend notes looking back at the weekends racing just past [Posted in the members area on Monday 16th of November, I suspect it will run to 10+ pages of notes]
  • Access to the exclusive NTF UTR Squad
  • Access to the NTF Members Trend Horses
  • A chance to discuss racing with the knowledgeable NTF Members [and myself, of course]
  • Ability to look back at the members post that have already been so far this season [race analysis guides, weekend notes, e.t.c...]
I know a lot of you are intrigued by my methods and the methods NTF uses to attack the National Hunt game but are not willing to spend your hard earned on a service you don't have any experience of (and that is more than fair enough).
So this is your chance to road test NTF for a week for precious little outlay...

I look forward to seeing plenty of you in the NTF Members Area over the coming week [with a view to becoming a permanent member of the NTF clan].
