What we learned from the weekend: 11th & 12th October...

Good morning jumping fans

That was a fine weekend of jumping action, wasn't it. Chepstow on Saturday and the Munster National on Sunday were fantastic appetizers for the first Cheltenham meeting of the season this coming weekend (yes, it's THAT time of the season already!)

Today on NTF I have the second installment of my new regular weekly feature on the Free Blog: What we learned from the weekend.

In these articles I'm going to look back at the weekends racing just past and provide for you three snippets with thoughts, opinions, pointers, trends and stats to keep you going for the week ahead and beyond.

There was plenty for me to pick from for today's article but I settled on an up and coming trainer (and his brother), a top class handicapper who probably has other targets and an Irish raider turning up in some unusual spots...
