...or more importantly who fits the exclusive BDH Dosage and Trends stats?
The 2000 Guineas is a strong race on both the Trends front and the Dosage front.
I have just finished applying my own trends to the 17 runners still entered for the
first Classic of the season.
A couple of the market principals are, as is to be expected, near the top of the list but there are a couple of tasty priced outsiders that have snuck into the equation, just the kind I like to take a dart at.
These are the top 5 trends that I
have applied...
- 15/15 had a 75%+ Win & Place Strike-Rate
- 14/15 had won at least half their starts
- 13/15 were GB or IRE bred
- 13/15 made their racecourse debut at a G1 track
- 13/15 had not finished lower than 4th in their career
In total I have a set of 14 race trends that I have applied to the 2000 Guineas entries.
Tomorrow, once the final declarations are through, I will send out my final figures and my 2000 Guineas shortlist. Those final figures will have the all important Dosage Trends applied to the field.
It won't be my finished BDH guide tomorrow, that will come on Friday evening when we have a better grasp on what the ground is likely to be, but my full figures will give subscribers an early look at things in case they want to get stuck into the race on their own terms, without my own selections pulling them in a certain direction.
My own selections always come the evening before racing.
The Dosage and Trends method doesn't always work, there are times it is wide of the mark. However, the
figures, and specifically the shortlist, are excellent at pinpointing the likely winners of the big races and I have personally been using the method for many seasons now.
If you are yet to see one of my BDH/NTF guides then there are a selection of excellent examples available HERE.
If you want to be part of BDH for the forthcoming flat season and join the many BDH/NTF members that already benefit from my in-depth work and analysis the discounted sign-up
is still available at the following link...
>>Join BDH for the 2014 flat season for only
£90
This is an early-bird offer as after this Guineas weekend I will be raising the price from £90 to £105 for seasonal membership.
Why? Well quite simply I want people to join now, before I get fully switched in to BDH analysis mode. I'm never really out of that mode but obviously I have to dedicate some time just now to the admin side of things.
So if you are thinking about joining then NOW is the best time to jump on-board...
