The flat action cranked up a notch at the weekend with the 2000 & 1000 Guineas at Newmarket and although I did give them both my full attention I still had my eyes firmly fixed on the jumping action at Uttoxeter & Hexham.

The ground is starting to dry up just nicely now and there are plenty of jumpers who will have been looking for this ground for some time, one such horse is my '1 to follow from the weekend' horse...

This horse is still a maiden over fences after 7 starts but he went close on Saturday and looks primed to strike soon...
