Zander Voy's Blog: Racing, Snow, Dog Sitting and the Return of the Kilt Pinnie...
Hi everyone
The next installment of National Hunt jockey Zander Voy's excellent jockey diary is now available exclusively on the NTF website...
Despite the snow hitting race meetings up and down the country Zander did thankfully get the leg up on a number of runners last week.
In this week's post Zander gives us insights and thoughts on some of his rides from last week....
"The ground rode very dead indeed but he didn't handle it at all. He handles a little bit of cut but not sticky/dead"
" He needs quick summer ground on a sharp track so today's track and ground didn't play to his strengths at all"
"There's plenty life left in the old boy yet and I'm positive he can, and will, win again before the curtain comes down on his career "
Zander has a few booked rides for this week so lets hope the weather gives him a clear run...
