...naturally he was talking about the amount of Last Time Out Winners (LTOW's) that win at the Cheltenham Festival...
Wasn't he?

Well... you learn something new every day I suppose...
Whether or not Errol was talking about Cheltenham Stats... horses that won on their final start
before Cheltenham DO account for a large amount of winners over the four days of the meeting...
There have been 279 races at the last ten Cheltenham Festivals...
141 of those races were won by a horse that was a Last Time Out Winner (LTOW)...
Meaning...
51% of the races at the
last ten Cheltenham Festivals were won by a LTOW...
You couldn't, however, have made a profit backing every single one of those LTOW's... even at BFSP you would have punched a massive -£213.37 hole in your betting bank...
But... the fact that more than half of the winners were LTOW's means we have a chunky enough data set to find areas where we CAN profit from LTOW's at the Festival...
