NTF Plans for 2026...

As most of you will be well aware, I've been on a break from racing since the end of the NTF 2025 Summer Members Service... I decided it was time to give my brain a bit of a rest from the daily grind of race analysis/betting... something that is always advisable in this game... although not always something I'm great at doing!! I needed (and wanted) it though... and I'm glad I stepped off the hamster wheel for a bit... I feel nice and refreshed and ready to roll again... although not just yet...

I've got a few non-racing things I'm pottering away with still so I'm targeting a return for the NTF service at the 2026 Cheltenham Festival... probably a double header mini-service sort of thing, running it into the Aintree National meeting...

The free NTF Blog will return prior to the Cheltenham Festival and I'll also have some of my usual stats/trends guides available for the Free NTF list (if you are reading this then you are on that list)...

So that's where I'm at with regards to the service and free blog...

I've not, obviously, completely stepped away from racing right now, far from it, for instance I've been having a good clean up/clear out of my angles and systems that I've got plugged into the various databases I use (there's an excellent article over on GeeGeez about a similar 'de-cluttering' process, you can read that HERE, well worth 5-minutes of your time)...

Obviously the clean up/clear out/tweaking/modifying/dumping of angles/systems is a bit of a constant process... but instead of my usual 'squeezing it in when I have a spare moment' approach, this time I've been able to have a proper dedicated meander through my angles and really tighten and tweak those that needed it, as well as dumping those that have either died a death or that I simply stopped using (or never STARTED using/finished digging into in the first place!!).

Which brings me onto the following two angles that I'm going to share with you today... two angles that I've used behind the scenes for a good few years... and two angles that I didn't actually need to do anything with during my recent angle/system reviewing period...

Two [FREE] quick returning National Hunt Angles...

I've always had a good few 'quick returning' angles on the go at any one time (quick returning as in Days Since Last Run (DSLR) 10 or less sort of area)... plenty of them concentrate on trainer specific angles, with others concentrating on the wider picture and not factoring in individual yards... such as the two angles I'm sharing below...

Both are angles I've had ticking along in the background for a good few years now... they are pretty self explanatory... nothing flashy or complicated... more a case of simple yet effective (how Mrs NTF often describes me!?!?!)...
