Goodwood was BAD... the Ebor meeting was EXCELLENT!
Glorious Goodwood had me reaching for the bottle to drown my sorrows... The Ebor Meeting at York on the other hand, well those were definitely celebration drinks!
14 races covered over the 4 days resulted in 6 winners found... including the 1-2 in the Ebor Handicap (the only 2 horses that topped my race trends!) and there were also a bunch more filling the places at decent odds...
It was a great 4-days for NTF members... I re-calibrated after the disappointment of Glorious Goodwood... got the ship back in order... and reminded myself to trust the process... I've been doing this for more than 15-years so I'm hardened to riding the variance of this racing game... you have to be... it's part n parcel of the game...
If you let it get to you then you risk deviating from your normal path... the tried and tested methods that you know work over the long-term... had I let the Goodwood horror show get to me I'd likely have missed banging in one of the BEST Ebor Festivals I've ever had!
And this flat season is far from over...
There's PLENTY more still to come between now and Champions Day at Ascot in October...
