One more sleep to go and then we will be deep down the Cheltenham rabbit hole and there will be no turning back!
But that's what we've signed up for and let's be honest... we LOVE IT!
The absolute delight of a race that is the BOODLES JUVENILE HANDICAP (the Fred Winter) was given a very light trends shake down by me in the members guide. It's not a race that I enjoy trying to pick apart all that much 😐😵💫 but there are some solid trends at play...
...and as this is my last pre-festival mailshot to you guys on the free NTF list I thought I'd share those Boodles Juvenile Handicap trends with you all, to help you try and nail the absolute head-scratcher of a conundrum that the cavalry charge provides us with!?
These are the trends I used this year to narrow the field...
.
12/12 No more than 4 (UK/IRE) Hurdle starts
12/12 making their (UK/IRE) Handicap Hurdle debut
12/12 Won or finished un-placed last time out
12/12 Irish, French or German bred
12/12 Didn't run in a Maiden last time out
12/12 didn’t make their debut on the A/W
11/12 1+ (UK/IRE) career victory (Diego Du Charmil the exception, who was making his first UK start after moving from France)
.
...applying those trends to this years entrants gives the following shortlist...
BRAZIL – BRITZKA – SAINT SEGAL – BELL EX ONE
