CYRNAME again?
Will he romp to his second Charlie Hall on the bounce and then drop away like a limp rag for the remainder of the season 😬
To be honest with you I think it looks a little bit of a muddling renewal this time round and you could potentially make a case for two or three possible outcomes.
The following are the trends I used to dig into the Charlie Hall Chase conundrum...
Charlie Hall Chase Trends
1 |
15/15 aged 6yo-9yo |
2 |
15/15 OR 151+ |
3 |
15/15 previously won at Graded level |
4 |
15/15 5-18 previous Chase starts |
5 |
15/15 previously run at G1 level (UK/IRE) |
6 |
15/15 last win came at C1 or C2 level over 2m4f -
3m2.5f |
I'm not always looking for a perfect fit on the trends just a horse (or two) that is the best fit from the entries.
To be fair the trends don't do a great job of narrowing this year's field in the Charlie Hall, but they are, as always, a great starting point for me, to help me dig a bit deeper into the finer points of the trends contenders as I look for the best horse(s) to try and make a profit from the race.
They won't all turn out like the above, obviously, but is a good, and very recent, example of how I make use of the Race Trends process...
