Al Boum Photo to follow in the hoofprints of Golden Miller, Cottage Rake, Arkle & Best Mate and win his third on the bounce?
Champ to back up his RSA Chase win in the same way that Looks Like Trouble, Denman, Bobs Worth & Lord Windermere did the following season?
A Plus Tard to confirm his Xmas victory was just the start of his 3m dominance?
Can Santini's spangly new visor eek out enough improvement in him to improve on last seasons effort?
Or will the now confirmed Royale Pagaille step out of handicap company and spoil the party for the previous festival players?
It's looking a red-hot renewal and there's plenty of intriguing ifs, buts and maybes that we can chew over, which is exactly what I'll be doing on my full NTF service over the next week...
To help with your Gold Cup analysis here are the main trends I'll be using to help Narrow The Field...
15/15 aged 6yo-9yo
15/15 previously won a G1 Chase
15/15 no more than 4 starts without a win
14/15 OR 164+
14/15 ran in a Non-Handicap Class 1 Chase LTO
Applying those trends would have helped you find 17 of the last 23 Gold Cup winners and I'll be using them to construct my main shortlist for this years renewal, before digging deeper to settle on where my own money is going.
If you are still looking to be part of the NTF Cheltenham service this year then today is your LAST CHANCE, as doors close at midnight tonight (Sunday 14th).
